Carlos Eusebio shares how Soulthrowers helped him regain his velocity and athleticism after an injury, transforming his approach to baseball.

Velocity Increase
"Ever since I started training with, with Seth and Brooks, definitely have seen a big jump in my velocity. So coming from injury, I was around even. It's like as low as 62 miles per hour. Just finding my way, trying to find my way back to, you know, to those mid upper 90s. And definitely within, I think it was like the first session with, with Seth, we were just throwing and you know, doing a couple, you know, tennis ball throws and stuff like that and went on the mound and just boom, raw frigate. Came back, got back to at least 85, 86 something. Wasn't able to throw for, for my life, my life depended on it. Then after that I just started kept on climbing until I got back to my, you know, 89 90s."
Carlos Eusebio is a professional baseball player who spent four to five years playing overseas, growing up in the Dominican Republic surrounded by immense talent. His journey, however, was interrupted by an injury in Mexico, which led him to a period of self-doubt and a struggle to regain his form.
After his injury, Carlos found himself in a difficult position. He was struggling to regain his velocity, with his throwing speed dropping as low as 62 miles per hour. The mental aspect of the game also became a significant hurdle, as fear of re-injury and overthinking his mechanics replaced the natural athleticism he once possessed.
"Coming from an injury in Mexico, thinking that, you know what, I could probably just power my way out of this. I've never been injured before. And something that stood out for me with, you know, with Seth and Brooks is like, they still reminded me of like those doctor days. So sometimes we get older as ball players, we tend to kind of forget how to be a kid, forget how to just have fun and also go back to the simplicity of, of the throw."
Carlos found his solution in Soulthrowers, a program led by Seth and Brooks. They helped him not only with the physical aspects of his recovery but also with the mental and emotional challenges. Their approach focused on returning to the fundamentals, simplifying the throwing motion, and fostering a mindset of enjoyment and athletic flow.
"Definitely has helped me out, open up my eyes to see baseball as what it is. It's a game. It's a game. It's a very competitive game at the end of the day too. So it's like if you're not willing to put in that extra work, if you're not willing to go out there and be part of those 1 percenters, you're not going to get, you're not going to get the results you want."
The impact of Soulthrowers on Carlos's career was profound. He experienced a significant increase in his throwing velocity, jumping from a low of 62 MPH to 85-86 MPH in his first session, and eventually climbing to 89-90 MPH. Beyond the numbers, Carlos rediscovered his athleticism, his ability to dunk a basketball, and the joy of playing the game without fear of pain. He also found a supportive community of fellow throwers, emphasizing the importance of continuous learning and adaptation.

We've helped hundreds of players gain velocity, get rid of anxiety, create confidence they never thought they would have, look at baseball in a different lens, and much much more. We are trying to help people gain perspective on what they are trying to accomplish. We are just helping shape real humans that want to keep playing baseball.
