Tyler Reed is a dedicated baseball player who, like many athletes, faced both physical and mental hurdles in his pursuit of excellence. Tyler's journey began with a common struggle among athletes: performance anxiety. He recalls, "I remember my freshman year, I was, I was scared to go to practice. Like, I talked to Seth about it. Like, it gave me anxiety. Like I would be in class, I'd be scared to go to practice, l'd be scared to do PFPs." This anxiety, coupled with a inconsistent pitching velocity that ranged from 86 to 90 MPH, created a significant barrier to his potential. 

He also held a common misconception about training, believing in "baseball specific lifts" that the internet often promotes. This limited his approach t o physical development and prevented him from unlocking his full athletic 

potential. 

The Solution: A Holistic Approach to Athletic Development 

Tyler found his solution in Soul Throwers and the guidance of Seth. He initially chose Soul Throwers to address his fluctuating velo and quickly discovered a comprehensive approach that went beyond just physical training. 

Seth's philosophy challenged Tyler's preconceived notions about baseball training, emphasizing overall athleticism rather than sport-specific exercises. 

"What training with Soul Throwers taught me was that there is not really baseball specific lifts. There's how to become more athletic, if that makes sense. Like be like being an athlete. Everything is training your, your 

brain and your body to move fast and be stable and just be athletic." 

Beyond the physical, Seth also served as a mentor, helping Tyler confront his mental blocks. Through unconventional exercises, like screaming into a pillow, Seth encouraged Tyler to challenge his fear of judgment and external opinions. This unique approach fostered a profound shift in Tyler's mentality, both on and off the 

field. 

The Results: Increased Velo, Enhanced Athleticism, and Mental Fortitude 

The impact of Soul Throwers on Tyler's performance and well-being was remarkable. Physically, he saw significant improvements. His pitching velocity steadily increased, reaching an impressive 94 MPH. He also

"I ran it up to 94 in the spring... I would sit 88, 90, 91, 9 2 very regularly, and it just kind of kept going up... I sat 93, 94." 

Beyond the numbers, Tyler experienced a profound mental transformation. He learned to care less about external opinions and focus on his own performance, leading to a more carefree and confident approach to the game. This newfound mental fortitude extended beyond baseball, influencing his everyday life. 

"Once I handled that, it was a lot easier to just go out on the baseball field and be carefree and not. Not really care who's in the stands or what coach is there to watch you or what your coaches are saying about you in the dugout."
